70 to 80 per cento factories in Ayutthaya to resume operations next month

Industry Minister Wannarat Channukul said Tuesday that 70 to 80 per cent of factories in Ayutthaya would be able to resume operations within next month.
He said high-capacity water pumps donated by Japan would start draining floodwaters in industrial estates on Friday.
He said 12 factories in Factory Land in Wang Noi district have resumed operations and more than 70 others would resume operations late this month or early next month.
He said the floodwater in Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate would be drained within November 20 and about 70 factories there would resume operations early next month.
