Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha  Monday ordered for accelerations of prosecution against remaining graft cases, including continuation of the interim charter’s Article 44 to slam allegedly corrupt officials.

Prayut’s orders were made during a meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Committee, over which he presided.

So far, Prayut’s orders published under the Article have found 353 officials allegedly committing grafts and punished 81 of them, said Prayong Preeyachit, secretary-general to the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission.

The National AntiCorruption Commission also found ground to press charges against 17 officials, with 98 having been dismissed and 41 having been investigated, Prayong said.
