Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban Monday held a meeting of the military top brass and police chief together with heads of security agencies to discuss the need to invoke the Internal Security Act for dealing with the upcoming red-shirt rally.

The meeting was held at the Army headquarters at 10:30 am.

The assessment from the meeting will be informed to the Cabinet on Tuesday.
