Narathiwat - An insurgent detonated a bomb hidden in a motorcycle, injuring six soldiers and a civilian Sunday morning.

The attack occurred at 8:30 am outside a second-hand clothes shop in business area of Rangae district.

Police said an insurgent hid a home-made bomb inside the motorcycle's petrol tank and parked it in front of the shop owned by Ali Yusoh, 58.

When the six soldiers arrived in front of the shop in a pick-up truck, the bomb exploded.
