
The Public Health Ministry Wednesday urged all provincial health offices to be prepared for the possible second round of Type A H1N1 outbreak early next month, which was expected to have six million people at risk of infection.
Although last week was the first time in four months that no one died from the flu, Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai ordered provincial health office and hospital directors to prepare in three aspects.
He urged them to prepare the flu vaccine, to join related agencies and organisations to launch flu preventing campaigns mid this month and to have health volunteers working with health offices to access to the flu patients as soon as possible to prevent death.
