Buoyed by the success in visiting Buri Ram on Saturday, PM's Office Minister Satit Wongnongtaey announced Sunday that Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva will enter the lion's den next month by visiting Chiang Mai and Lamphun.

Satit said Abhisit would visit Ubon Ratchathani on July 23 and visit Chiang Mai and Lamphun two weeks later.

Chiang Mai is the home province of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

The Democrat Party's election campaign rally in the province was once disrupted by Thaksin's supporters.
