Bhum Jai Thai blames media for "misunderstanding" with Democrat
Bhum Jai Thai Party leader and Interior Minister
Chaovarat Chanweerakul Saturday denied that his chief aided Saksayam Chidchob had criticized the
Democrat Party and blamed it on a newspaper which he said distorted Saksayam's wordings.
Chaavarat claimed that Saksayam did not say he had to tolerate working with the Democrat.
He said Saksayam was simply speaking that the Bhum Jai Thai had to be patient and become reserved instead of being outspoken now that it has lost in a by-election.
Earlier, Prime Minister
Abhisit Vejjajiva strongly reacted to reports that Saksayam was not happy working as a coalition partner. Abhisit said Saksayam should quit if he was not happy.
Chaovarat said the leading members of the coalition partners had talked and reached an understanding over the issue now.
