Methamphetamine found on man fatally injured in road accident



Songkhla - A man was fatally injured in a road accident in this southern border province late Tuesday night after which police found 4,500 methamphetamine pills inside his car.

The accident happened on the Lopburi-Rames Road in Hat Yai district at about 20 minutes after midnight.

The man, Sathit Kungwat, 31, was rding a Honda Civic car when it crashed with a motorcycle ridden by Ampol Bilyala, who was slightly injured and sent to Hat Yai Hospital.

Sathit died on his way to the Hat Yai hospital.

Police said the motorcycle cut in front of Sathit's car, which was speeding up and Sathit swerved his car, causing it to overturn.

Police found the drug and Bt160,000 in cash inside the car.
