GAT, PAT exams postponed to November
Flood disaster caused the General Aptitude Test (GAT)/Professional Aptitude Test (PAT) exams to postpone from October 8-11 to be from November 5-6 and November 12-13.
Education Minister Worawat Uaapinyakul Tuesday said that PM Yingluck Shinawatra was concerned about flood impacts to many of the 329,519 testtaking students nationwide and that 38 exam sites out of 236 exam sites were currently flooded.
Worawat thus consulted with the National Institute of Educational Testing Service, the Office of Higher Education Commission and the Council of University Presidents of Thailand until they reached a conclusion to postponed the exams dates to November.
