Universities form 'Sister Institute Relationship'

Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University's Northeastern Research Institute of Petrified Wood and Mineral Resources (RIPM) has joined forces with the Fukui Prefectural University's Dinosaur Research Institute in Japan to establish a "Sister Institute Relationship".

This agreement of academic cooperation, signed recently by Nakhon Ratchasima governor Winai Buapradit and governor of Fukui Prefecture Issei Nishikawa at the RIPM office, stems from the RIPM's seven-year relationship with the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. It marks the beginning of international ties in academic cooperation, student and teacher exchange, as well as the broader publication of research for further academic advancement.

Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University said the agreement would also promote the two institutes' activities, including dinosaur and fossil-research development.
