The Criminal Court issued more arrest warrants yesterday for two members of the former Central Investigation Bureau chief's network. They face charges for money laundering.
Rerngsak Saknarongdech and Sawong Mungthiang had previously been arrested and charged for possessing the carcasses of several protected species.
Yesterday’s warrants were issued because police investigation found that the duo allegedly took care of the assets, including planks for rare wood and antiques for then-CIB chief Pol Lt-General Pongpat Chayapan.
The two were notified of the additional charges at the remand facility yesterday.
