True multimedia assistance for more schools

True Corporation is allowing 15 more schools to participate in its "True Plook Panya" (True installs wisdom) project.

Those interested have until June 30 to apply.
The project provides free multimedia and instruments to selected schools from 2007-13. 
It is aimed at improving the quality of education and helping students who do not have access to some classes they need.
Schools selected by the project will be entitled to the following: 
_ Colour television sets for every classroom so that students and teachers can watch all True Vision channels in class 
_ Computers in every classroom so that students can use digital content 
_ A server to store information and teaching materials for teachers’ convenient access
_ A LAN so that students and teachers can use the Internet from anywhere at school
_ A SMATV to support the broadcasting of visual and audio signals to every classroom 
_ Closed-circuit television system with a broadcasting set of a video camera and a backdrop for the school so that teachers and students an conduct public relations and report information to all classrooms
