Thai passport services offered by the Foreign Ministry are only available at the Bang Na and Pinklao offices, as the Consular Department's head office has been shut down due to the antigovernment protest, ministry spokesman Sek Wannamethee said yesterday.

The Bang Na and Pinklao offices can issue only 2,500 passports per day, Sek said, adding that passport issuing in other provinces were also shut down, as links with the department headquarters had been cut.
