Swingers club busted

A Dutchman and a local woman were arrested at a party yesterday for allegedly running a swingers club at their Pattaya resort.

Pattaya police raided the room of Anthony Verloop, 61, and Kannikar Kankhai, 42, at the Rammakian Resort on Soi Thapphraya in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung at 1am.

They found about 10 nearly naked couples, mostly foreigners, along with sex toys and used condoms. The couples were not taken into custody.

Verloop and Kannikar say they had opened a website inviting couples to join their parties at their resort to exchange partners for sex. They charged a membership fee of Bt2,300 a year.

The two were booked for soliciting the public for sex services.
