A summer storm damaged 253 houses in three villages of Udon Thani's Nong Wang Sor and Kumphawapi districts on Wednesday evening.

The storm at Nong Bua Ban Moo 1 and 2 and Pho Waree villages also damaged some rubber and vegetable plantations, but didn’t cause any injury or death, said provincial governor Seni Jittakasem yesterday. It was the second summer storm this year in the province.
In Chaiyaphum, 50 families were evacuated from their homes as gusty winds during a 30-minute hailstorm tore off roofs in Tambon Huai Ton of Muang district on Wednesday night. 
The storm also damaged another 60 homes in tambon Som Poy and Nong Bua Ban of Chatturat district.
