Sons disagree on Kamnan Poh's condition
Somchai "Kamnan Poh" Khunpluem's health had improved so he should be out of an intensive care unit in two to three days, his son Wittaya, president of Chon Buri's Provincial Administrative Organisation, said yesterday. But, he would be ventilated and under a close watch for infection in his lungs, he said.
However, his youngest son and mayor of Chon Buri's Saensuk Municipality, Narongchai, denied this and insisted Somchai, who was arrested last month after fleeing a murder conviction, still had an irregular heartbeat.
Hospital director Assada Teeyapan said Somchai's blood pressure was 100-130/40-60 mmHg with a heart rate of 90-110 beats per minute and an irregular beat sometimes.
