A documentary TV show to highlight educational issues went to air for the first time on Saturday.
“This programme will be the first step to get all groups in society to participate in efforts to solve education system issues,” Amornwit Nakhonthap, associate professor of education at Chulalongkorn University, said yesterday.
The show, which was aired last week by the Quality Learning Foundation, will be broadcast on Thai PBS every Saturday from 2.05pm-2.30pm.
Spanning 13 episodes, the series features various people in society affected by education issues and their opinions and solutions, said Amornwit, who is also an adviser to the foundation.
The first show was different to other documented reports as it was based on real life experiences of children and their parents, who became victims of an education system prepared from a narrow perspective.
