Heavy rains partially brought down the roof of a Siam Global House store in Lampang's Muang district on Sunday evening, though nobody was injured.
This happened after a Siam Global House branch in Surin’s Muang had collapsed last Tuesday, killing six.
As heavy downpours and gusty winds lashed the city, the store found the rear section of its roof collapsing at 7pm on Sunday, while customers were still shopping. The collapse left a 10-metre wide hole, but did not result in any injuries or deaths.
The building’s structure was inspected yesterday and the site sealed.
The store had just marked its first anniversary on Sunday.
