The Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (Onesqa) has decided to drop the U-Net testing method of higher-educational institutes.

The decision was made after the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (NIETS) announced that it would launch the University National Education Test (U-Net) only for the English-language subject.

“In that case, the U-Net won’t reflect the Thailand Qualifications Framework,” Onesqa director Channarong Pornrungroj said yesterday.

“So we will have to consider other criteria for assessments.”
