NIETS insists there is only 1 correct answer
The National Institute of Educational Testing Service (NIETS) yesterday dismissed students' complaints that a question in their Biology test could have two correct answers.
"There's just one best answer," NIETS director Dr Samphan Phanphruk said, referring to question 30.
The test was held on Sunday, after which several students complained that there could be more than one correct answer to the question.
Samphan said the exam designer had double-checked the question and still saw only one correct answer.
"If the students still have doubts, they can come forward to see the answer after NIETS announces the scores on April 10," he said.
Mathayom 6 students need to take the PAT or professional aptitude tests seriously because these scores can affect their chances of getting into the better higher-educational institutes.
