A 33-year-old Moroccan man was arrested for using fake credit cards to buy goods in the Hua Mark area.

Pol Maj-General Waranwat Karunyathat, deputy Metropolitan Police commissioner, said yesterday that Adi Sadqi was caught at a Bang Kapi mall with 16 fake credit cards, a receipt for two cellphones, equipment to make the cards and some blank cards. Sadqi reportedly confessed to buying the equipment and blanks from Malaysia and then information on cardholders to make the fake cards. He reportedly also withdrew cash, of which some might have been sent to his home country.
