Malaysia's King and Queen arrived in Bangkok on Monday at the start of a fourday state visit at the invitation of Their Majesties the King and the Queen.
They were received upon arrival by HRH Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
This is the second visit of HM Almu’tasimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah ibini Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the 14th Yang diPertuan Agong of Malaysia, and HM the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah binti Haji Hamidun.
It was earlier scheduled for February 1821 but postponed to the current date at the advice of HM’s personal physician.
The Malaysian King paid his first state visit to Thailand between February 18, 1973.
The visit reflects the close and friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples.
