Former Pheu Thai MP Karun enters monkhood

Former Pheu Thai Party MP Karun Hosakul entered a monkhood at Wat Don Mueang yesterday in dedication to his late father Sompansa Hosakul and his mother Suban Thanadtang.

A source said Karun would stay in monkhood for nine days and would use the Bt1 million donated to his ordination rite to buy a van for the temple's abbot.

Former ICT minister Anudith Nakornthap and a number of former Pheu Thai MPs, including Surachart Thienthong and Preechaphol Pongpanit, as well as former Chart Thai Pattana MP Chada Thaised, joined the ceremony.
