The first group of Thai workers evacuated from Libya will arrive Thailand on Wednesday, said Employment Department chief Sumet Mohosot said Monday.
The 18 workers, who were employed Delma, are scheduled to leave Libya on Monday and will arrive Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12.25pm Wednesday via Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The number of workers and their arrival time might change depending on vacant seats on the flight, he said, adding details would be confirmed when the tickets are booked.
His department will send their officials to facilitate the entry into the country and if help is needed.
On Saturday, a group of seven Thai students arrived in Bangkok after being evacuated from Libya.
