Examinations held for teaching assistants
Entrance exams for teaching assistants to fill 1,058 positions at 78 primary and secondary educational area offices nationwide took place yesterday.
Nakhon Ratchasima's Primary Educational Area 5 Office saw as many as 4,306 applicants vying for 14 positions.The office beefed up measures to prevent cheating at its five exam venues, including body search, surrender of communication devices by applicants and imposition of a rule that applicants could leave the exam room only after one hour, the office deputy head, Daeng Janwiwat, said.
Two other offices with the largest number of applicants were Surin's Primary Educational Area 3 Office - 8,768, and Bangkok's Secondary Educational Area 2 Office - 6,648 applicants.
