Crash cushion installed at 'risky' sites
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) officials installed a safety device yesterday to reduce the severity of car crashes at the Ratchawipha Interchange.
Governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra said his agency had set up a crash cushion at the interchange because many accidents occurred there.
The BMA plans to install the device at six other "risky" sites - Jaturathit bridge, the elevated Borommaratchachonnani bridge, Ekkamai Nua intersection flyover, Bang Kapi intersection flyover, Ramkhamhaeng intersection flyover and Rama II intersection flyover.
