King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) is inviting high school students to join its KMITL Innovative Award 2014 contest in the hope of finding innovations created by Thailand's new generation.
In the contest, which features the theme “The Nation of Innovation”, the gold winner will receive a plague of honour from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Bt50,000.
The silver winner gets a plague of honour from Privy Councillor General Surayud Chulanont and Bt30,000, while the bronze winner will get a trophy from the KMITL rector and Bt20,000.
The team that gets the most votes via Facebook wins Bt10,000.
Those interested can apply in teams of three to five people and submit an innovation presentation in the format of Microsoft Word plus a 30-minute video via http://www.kmitlaward.com/.
The application deadline is July 31.
