A host of luminaries attended the Big C Foundation’s ‘Scholarships 2013’ ceremony to see top students pick up their awards. The event was presided over by Rojana Kritcharoen, centre, deputy secretarygeneral of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (Obec), together with Phanit Meesunthorn (centre) a deputy permanent secretary at the Ministry of Education, and members of the committee of the Big C Foundation led by Supattra Yenkasem (3rd from right).
People selected for grants in 2013 will receive them until next year.
Members of the secretariat of the Big C Foundation, Dr. Netithorn Praditsarn, Mrs Sureerat Mahasarinantra and Chanit Phukarn, as well as deputy directors from the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1 and Office 2 attended the ceremony to give scholarships to top students from Mathayom. A total of 6,200 students were given scholarships worth Bt3000 per person. The ceremony took place at Chakkapan Pensiri Building, Kasetsart University.
