Thai agencies expect to see a decrease in violence in deep south from Wednesday following a promise from and discussion with the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN), National Security Council chief Paradorn Pattanathabutr said on Tuesday.

A reduction in daily violence is one of the conditions that has been demanded by the Thai side during the dialogue with the BRN, said Paradorn, who is dialogue chief.
If violence were to occur, investigation of the incidents would be conducted promptly and completed within 48 hours to ascertain which group is responsible.
