BMA officials, school kids treated to 'Naresuan 5'

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will arrange a free screening of celebrated film "The Legend of King Naresuan 5" for its 250,000 officials, employees and schoolchildren for two weeks at designated Bangkok theatres starting from July 8, it was announced yesterday. The aim, said the BMA, was to boost patriotic feeling.

Under the project, co-organised with Sahamongkol Film International, Major Cineplex Group and SF Corporation, a total of 43 Bangkok cinemas will provide free showings at 9:30am, while the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority will provide transport for BMA schools, said BMA permanent secretary Ninnart Chalitanon.

Schoolchildren will be able to see the film for free during weekdays, while officials and employees can do so at weekends.
