Another 25 Thai nationals returned from Libya yesterday, bringing the number of Thai evacuees to 677.
Of the people who have returned home so far, 462 were labourers and 11 students.
Opas Buaprasert, who hails from Sukhothai province, said he had been working in Libya for nearly two years and still had about six months left on his contract.
He said he would discuss what should be done next with the company that recruited him.
“I have told myself that I will not go to work in Libya or any other foreign country again, as I was really scared for my safety and of what is happening in Libya,” he said.
He was now thinking about working in construction or renting land to grow rice.
