In a material world
Rare photographs of Madonna are on show at the W Hotel Bangkok until January 19. The touring exhibition features never-before-seen pictures of the "Material Girl" singer in New York at the start of her stardom in the 1980s.
The photos are by celebrated lensmen Richard Corman and George DuBose. Curated by Rock Paper Photo, an online fine art photography gallery founded by Live Nation Entertainment and Madonna's long-time manager Guy Oseary, the exhibition is sponsored by Vitamin water.

Horseshoes, four-leaf clovers, wishbones and other lucky charms inspire this year's Christmas collection by Louis Vuitton.
They adorn various items, including leather goods, handbags, shoes, accessories, sunglasses and jewellery.
Check out the collection at Louis Vuitton boutiques at Gaysorn, Siam Paragon, the Emporium and the Oriental Hotel.
Koons puts a label on it
Jeff Koons is the latest in a long line of famous artists to design a label for the celebrated wine of Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
Every year since 1945, the Bordeaux estate has commissioned an original work to adorn its bottles. Koons' label, which draws inspiration from a Pompeii fresco depicting the birth of Venus, is affixed to Rothschild's 2010 vintage.
Other Rothschild label designers have included Jean Cocteau, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol. Not all of them have been established figures in the art world - actor-director John Huston did the label for the 1982 vintage while Britain's Prince Charles provided a design for the 2004 edition.
Koons' bottles have already all been sold to suppliers and will cost around Bt32,500 or more.
