Daniel Craig again consults his Omega wristwatch in the latest James Bond thriller
Swiss watch brand Omega welcomed the latest James Bond movie with the launch of Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M "Skyfall" Limited Edition at a special "Skyfall" screening and a launch event at Siam Paragon on Tuesday.
James Bond, the world's most loved spy who celebrates his 50th anniversary on the silver screen this year, has sported an Omega wristwatch since "Golden Eye" in 1995, and in the five following films he relied on his timepiece throughout numerous action scenes and daredevil feats.
In "Skyfall", Bond wears the steel-on-steel Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m 42mm with a matt black unidirectional rotating divers' bezel.
The 44-year-old English actor Daniel Craig was selected as the sixth actor to play James Bond in 2005 and since then he has
starred as 007 in "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace". In addition to his role as Bond, Craig has worked across all of his profession's disciplines including starring roles in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "Cowboys & Aliens" theatre performances on Broadway.
In "Skyfall", the 23rd film in the franchise, the two Bond girls - Berenice Marlohe who plays the enigmatic Severine and Naomie Harris who plays Field Agent Eve Moneypenny - both wear Omega wristwatches on-screen.
