Zeitgeist top search terms and fastest rising searches from over fifty countries will be revealed shortly and we're looking forward to seeing how Thai searches compare with the way the world search in 2011.

A great example from this year's search trends is the spike in "smartphone" searches which first gained momentum in August and peaked during September and October with the 3G license auction and the floods, as more and more people searched for ways to stay connected during the floods.
