The satellite TV of the entertainment giant launches a budget set-top box option



GMM Z once again marked its position in the field of satellite TV with the recent launch of its new set-top box - the GMM Z mini - at a press conference held at Siam Paragon's Infinity Hall.

Puttachad "Tui Tui" Pongsuchat, acting as MC for the event, introduced GMM Z's deputy CEO Vilasinee Jiwanon, who talked about the new budget set-top box and its own satellite dish, priced at Bt400 to Bt500 per unit, which is enable with conditioned access system - C Band and KU Band.

The set-top box offers access to more than 220 channels including 10 Grammy channels: Fan TV, Bang Channel, Green Channel, Acts Channel, Saranae Channel, Play Channel, JKN, Maxxi TV, GMM Music, and O Shopping.

Grammy's chairman Paibul Damrongchaitham received a standard mark plaque from Dr Nattapon Nattasomboon, deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Industry's Department of Industrial Promotion and Thai Industrial Standard Institute.

On hand to applaud were GMM Z's CEOs Thana Thienachariya and Fahmai Damrongchaitham, singers Supanat "Aof" Chalermchaicharoenkij, Supakchaya "Frame" Sukbaiyen plus Pongsatorn "Dew" Supinyo, and Surattikan "Earn" Phakcharoen from "The Star 8".
