Coach with art

Coach recently teamed up with artist Hugo Guinness to produce a limited edition collection of leather and canvas illustrated bags and accessories.

The result is a celebration of sincerity, whimsy and artistry.

The London-born, Brooklyn-based Guinness made some unexpected choices of subject matter - a ubiquitous New York coffee cup and a pair of handcuffs among them.

There's an angry boxer on one side of a reversible black-and-white bag, plus a set of crazily inked keys on a zip-top key case and cool aviator sunglasses on a slipcase for your specs.

Functional and funky

After designing a full range of Lego accessories for the Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 2008 collection, twin designers Dee & Ricky joined up with Casio and tried their hands at watch design for the Japanese company's G-Shock brand.

The New York-based duo launched their latest collaboration - the GA110DR-1A, a limited-edition chronograph that pairs an extra-large analogue/digital readout with the Dee & Ricky design sensibility that's seen on fashion runways and metropolitan sidewalks worldwide.

The GA110DR-1A uses rudimentary building blocks as a starting point and draws on primary colours to mimic the appearance of a toy watch.

The watch remains rooted in the tough-looking G-Shock technology and features magnetic resistance, shock resistance, 200m water resistance, auto led light, 48 city world time, 1/1,000th stopwatch with speed indicator, four daily alarms, snooze alarm, 12/24-hour formats and mute function.

Couture condoms

Fashion label Louis Vuitton has again become the talk of the cyberworld by releasing a collection of luxurious condoms through the shop's online store.

They're designed by Georgian architect Irakli Kiziria, who is not affiliated with the Louis Vuitton Company. He proposed a launch for the product on World Aids Day, as part of the Louis Vuitton's work with amfAR (the Foundation for AIDS Research).

The condoms are to be priced at $68 (Bt2,150) each, making it one of the most expensive condoms one can buy. Check it out at www.LouisVuittonCondom.com.
