The HTC Windows Phone 8X not only looks good, it also performs well and comes complete with a terrific camera

A sleek smart phone with good performance and a great camera, the HTC Windows Phone 8X is powered by Qualcomm S4 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
It comes with 4.3-inch touch screen, made of 341 pixel per inch Super LCD2 display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and which is protected by Gorilla Glass 2, making it scratch resistant.
It has 1 gigabyte of working memory or RAM and 16 GB of storage but no microSD slot for expanding storage.
The fast processor and the Windows Phone 8 OS contribute to the good performance of the smart phone. Its touch screen was very responsive and scrolling of the screen was fast. The applications ran smoothly and audio and video files were also fast and smooth during the test.
The HTC 8X supports the 3G connection of all mobile phone operators here and I tested it on TrueMove H’s 850 MHz HSPA 3G network.
I managed to download and install applications on the go and had no problems updating and checking my Facebook status. The snapshots I took with the phone could be uploaded to my Facebook wall fast and I had no problems checking in with the Foursquare applications.
The Windows Phone 8 OS is a fast and smooth OS and I enjoyed typing in Thai on the adapted QWERTY keyboard, which was made easy and didn’t require cycling through the alphabet.
I found the screen very bright and readable under sunlight. It displays photos very beautifully as well.
Another thing that I loved about the HTC 8X was the high quality camera. it camera captured sharp and clean photos – event at night. It uses 8 megapixel BSI (backside illuminated) sensor, which allows good quality shooting even in low-light conditions. Its camera is enhanced with the f/2.0 lens and the lens has 28mm focal length in 35mm photography, so the phone takes beautiful scenery shots as well.
HTC says it uses dedicated HTC ImageChip for fast focus speed and fast image processing, which enhance the camera’s performance.
Both front and main cameras are capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos. The front camera boasts 2.1 megapixel and f/2.0 lens as well. The front camera also has ultra-wide angle lens that allows you to easily capture yourself and friends.
And the HTC 8X could serve as very high quality MP3 player thanks to the built-in Beasts Audio sound enhancement technology. I tested its music playing capacity with my Sony in-ear premium headphones and enjoyed the music quality a great deal. The Beasts Audio automatically turns on when you plug in the headphones.
Its battery could survive more than one day per one charge.
The HTC 8X also comes with two-year free storage service of 25 gigabytes from Dropbox.
HTC Windows Phone 8X is available in California Blue, Graphite Black, Flame Red, or Limelight Yellow for Bt19,990.
