Wan Nor cleared of graft charge

The National Anti Corruption Commission on Tuesday ruled to drop the impeachment proceedings against former interior minister Wan Muhammad Nor Matha, citing a lack of evidence to substantiate the alleged foul play.
In the impeachment motion filed by the then opposition Democrats, Wan Nor was suspected to have accumulated unusual wealth when he served in the Thaksin Shinawatra government in 2003.
