Three injured in drive-by shooting in Narathiwat


Narathiwat - An assistant village head and two villagers were injured in a drive-by shooting in this southern border province Monday.
Police said the three were riding on the back of a pickup truck of Yusoh Sama, the chief of Tambon Laloh in Rusoh, district when insurgents on another pickup caught up with them and opened fire at them and sped off.
The shooting occurred at 10:30 am on the main village road in Yaba village in Tambon Rusoh.
Sari Buarahen, 36, an assistant head of Laloh village, and two villagers - Abduloh Yimayi, 48 and Muhamad Jehae, 21, were injured.
