Thaksin's trial suspended pending his arrest

The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday to suspend the judicial inquiry into graft charges related to the alleged filing of false asset statements by ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra.
The high court also issued a warrant of arrest for fugitive Thaksin on the ground that he failed to show up in court without any justification.
As plaintiff, the National Counter Corruption Commission has laid out graft charges against Thaksin following the February ruling to seize his Bt46 billion in ill-gotten gains.
