Thaksin makes phone-in to address protesters


Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra made a phone-in to address the red-shirt protesters at the Pan Fah Bridge at 8:45 pm Saturday night.
In his five-minute talk, he thanked the protesters for showing up in high number.
Thaksin said the country was still under the military rule and the government was backed by "ruling elites".
Thaksin said he was not in Cambodia but he was in Europe with his daughters.
He said he would make another phone call to talk to the red-shirt protesters on Sunday.
