Thai shares open 1.28 per cent lower

Thai stocks plunged 8.76 points or 1.28 per cent when the market was open for trading Friday morning.
The composite index of the Stock Exchange of Thailand dropped to 676.97 at 10:02 am with a trading value of Bt1.528 billion.
The blue-chip SET50 dropped 6.66 points of 1.39 per cent to 473.71.
The top five active stocks were BANPU, PTT, SCC, PTTEP and PTTAR.
