Suthep to ask Cabinet to lift ISA enforcement

Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said Friday that he will propose the Cabinet to consider lifting the enforcement of Internal Security Act for Bangkok now that the red-shirt movement has indefinitely postponed its rally.
Suthep said he will ask the Cabinet to consider the issue during its weekly meeting on Tuesday.
But if the red-shirt movement plans another mass rally, the Cabinet will convene a meeting to consider enforcing the ISA in the capital again, Suthep said.
