Suthep blames opposition for govt's failure to create reconciliation

Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban Tuesday blamed the opposition for the government's failure to bring about reconciliation after the administration has been in office for a year.
Suthep was responding to criticism by Pheu Thai party-list MP Jatuporn Promphan who said the government failed its main mission to create reconciliation.
"It's because the opposition would not cooperate with us. During the past year, the government has been exercising utmost restraint to avoid clashing with the opposition and the demonstrators rallied by the opposition," Suthep said.
"Even when the rioted and damaged the country, we also exercised restrain."
