Metropolitan Police will Friday deploy the riot force to keep peace during the red-shirt rally at the Army headquarters on Rajdamnoen Nok Avenue.
The riot force from Metropolitan Police Region 1 will be the principal unit with a company of back-up policemen on stand-by for deployment if the crowds turn unruly.
