Pheu Thai announces suspension of reconciliation efforts

The Pheu Thai Party announced Monday that it would suspend its plan to join the government's reconciliation until the government is sincere to push for national reconciliation.
Pheu Thai leader Yongyuth Wichaidit and party secretary-general Sunee Luanwichit held a press conference to denounce Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban for accusing the Pheu Thai of supporting violence by the red-shirt protesters and alleged collaboration to topple the monarchy.
Yongyuth said the Pheu Thai has never supported violence or political turbulence as alleged by Suthep and the party is also loyal to the Royal Family.
"So, the Pheu Thai will wait and see whether the government and other organizations are ready to push for national reconciliation or not," Yongyuth said.
