PM hopeful on Phue Thai leadership change

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Thursday voiced hope that the leadership change of the Phue Thai Party could lead to reconciliation.
"It is normal for a political party to make internal adjustment and it is better for all if this change will pave way for reconciliation," he said.
Abhisit said he had no idea about the speculation that former national police chief General Kowit Wattana would be the top contender to replace Pheu Thai leader Yongyuth Wichaidit who resigned.
