No court injunction on Jaruvan case

The Central Administrative Court ruled on Friday to turn down a petition for issue an injunction to suspend auditor general Khunying Jaruvan Maintaka pending the judicial decision on the administrative dispute related to her qualifications to hold office beyond the mandator retirement age of 65.
In its ruling, the court said although Jaruvan's job status was being disputed, the complainant in this case, which is the Office of the Ombudsman, was not an injured party linked to the Office of the Auditor General, hence there was no ground to seek the injunction.
