The Finance Ministry will offer foreign investors more tax incentives for selecting Thailand as their regional headquarters, Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij said.
After meeting with Japanese investors at roadshows in Japan, Korn said Japanese investors are interested in the Thai service sectors.
Korn assured Japanese investors that the government could control the situation. However, Korn is concerned that if the political conflicts could not be solved peacefully, foreign investors may turn to invest in Vietnam, Indonesia and India instead.
