The Army's 17 battalions stationed in Bangkok have issued a statement condemning Maj General Khattiya "Seh Daeng" Sawasdipol and demanding a stop to his disrespectful behaviour.
The battalion commanders took part in a show of force on Friday organised by Colonel Apirat Kongsompong, commander of the 11th Infantry Regiment.
"Maj General Khattiya was politically motivate when he made snide comments designed to tarnish the Army's reputation and that of its chief General Anupong Paochinda's," Apirat said reading from the statement.
